Tougher than the Rest has been at the top of the Chart for a week, the reason is that the creators of the chart, me and Paolo Sbalzer we both liked it. Especially me
for some reason i think that the live version of this song has something Epic, it tells (musically) the end of a period. The Video is for me a tribute
to the E street band, and for the magical world they created in the rock sphere.
The main theme of the lyrics tell of a man that is tougher than the rest on love. I think we would all like to love and be loved like that,
not by physical appearance (good looking joe), or superficial romance (Romeo) but by facts and results. ...the road is dark but there is a thin thin line, and baby i walk for
you anytime...
The drums are really simple but give and incredible beat to the song, the Miami horns add to the atmosphere, with Gary W. Tallent
playing the bass in a wonderful way. I guess that like all songs, they mean something to you if they coincide with a particular moment
of your life.
